General description:
It is very similar to N. fasciata, see the discussion under that species. Wing length: ♂ 3.5 - 3.7 - 3.9 mm (7); ♀ 3.5 - 3.9 - 4.2 mm (3).
Distribution:
Collin (1958)[1] describes this species as "common and widespread".
World distribution: Palaearctic: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland; Russia: European regions.
